It has become simple for the Tracy High football team, win the last two games and go to the playoffs or lose and they are most likely out.

Last week’s game on against St. Mary’s on Oct. 23, resulted in a loss for the Bulldogs, 35-14, but Tracy can still turn its luck around if it wins the game against Lincoln High School on Oct. 30.

The game against Lincoln should be challenging for the Bulldogs in the last game of the year. The main obstacle in this game is Lincoln’s safety Taras Zbyshko. Zbyshko is a dangerous defender, with his average of 6.7 tackles per game. The Bulldogs’ offense will need to be executing on point during the game.

Also, the game against West on Nov. 6, will be a game that creates some difficulty for the Bulldogs. West High School’s running back Marcel Dancy does pose a potential threat for the Bulldogs defense. Dancy could be the catalyst that will make or break the Bulldogs.

“We need to work hard on every aspect of our game and win the rest of our games to earn a spot in the playoffs,” left tackle Duncan Ordenana said. “Both teams will give us good competition, but I think we will come together as a team and pull off a win against both West and Lincoln.”

“In league, we are doing alright, we will really find out in these next two weeks. They are make or break weeks,” coach Jeff Pribble said. “We have to win both to make the playoffs, and if we win both games we will be 4-1 in league which is a good little deal.

“Both Lincoln and West are going to be good match ups for us and we should be able to move the ball against them,” said Pribble

Our strategy will be to have no turnovers on offense, and on defense we want to hold their big players and make them work for every yard that they get

The next two Fridays will determine whether the Bulldogs are playoff bound or not.
