Christmas Charity Toy Drives

Christmas Charity Toy Drives

Christmas is right around the corner. This much beloved holiday signifies many things for many people, whether that be time with family or just getting and receiving presents. At holidays, sometimes we may forget that the best gift is showing another you are thinking about them.

Toy donations and other charities are a great way to spread holiday cheer throughout the season.

EA Family Services is hosting their 4th annual Santa’s Workshop toy drive. EA is collecting toys between Nov. 1- Dec. 10. These toys go to the children within the foster system of the Central Valley and the Bay Area to give them a brighter Christmas.

The donation box states, “EA Family Services is a Non-profit foster family agency that provides a variety of residential services to neglected, abused, and delinquent children.”

Brian Musich’s room, A207, is currently a location to drop off donations.

“Help out a child in need and help my friend who works for the company doing it,” Musich said.

During this holiday season we must begin to think of others and help one another. Even though you may not directly see the smile on another’s face or see the impact, it does help. No donation is too small and if we work together, we can begin to make the world a brighter place.

Other donation spots in Tracy include:  EA Family Services, City on a Hill Mission Church, Red Robin Restaurant, Southwinds Church, Monte Vista Middle School, Mail & More, and Mission City Church.
