Apple’s iPhone 5S is easily one of the most advanced smartphones today.  The 5S has huge potential with its unique features and astonishing improvements. Although it is slightly similar to the iPhone 5, there are some changes that really set it apart.

One new feature that has everyone in awe is the fingerprint identity sensor. Fingerprints are a unique identifier, so there is no possible way that anyone else could unlock your phone with this sensor. It can also be used as a password for purchasing merchandise from the iTunes or app store. The passcode option is still available for those who are not in favor of the fingerprint sensor.

Personally, I enjoy using the classic four number passcode; I have been using it to unlock my phone for quite some time. I really like using the fingerprint identity sensor as a password for purchasing items in order to avoid someone using my money without my permission.

The iPhone 5S is the 64-bit smartphone in the world. Generally, this means that more information can be handled at once allowing quicker processing. The A7 chip gives the phone CPU and graphics that perform up to two times faster. The camera app takes full advantage of the new image signal processor. This creates a much more realistic view of the images.

I certainly noticed the difference in the 5S in comparison to the 4 in order of how the images are displayed. There are no delays with images or sound; and it makes for a phenomenal experience when using this phone.

Along with the A7 chip, the M7 coprocessor is designed specifically in order to measure motion data from the accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass. This helps save battery power by taking some of the responsibilities of the A7 chip.

The M7 coprocessor detects motion; therefore, if you’re using the navigation, it will be in use. With the lack of motion, the M7 coprocessor will reduce the activity; such as if you were sleeping. This also helps save battery power.

I’ve noticed that my iPhone 5S holds a much longer battery life than my iPhone 4. This really comes in handy because I don’t have time to constantly charge my phone.

The iPhone’s famous camera just got even better. It makes taking high quality images and videos, simple and quick. It now has a 15 percent larger sensor, larger pixels, and a larger aperture; which helps let in more light. Also, the rapid fire option can take up to 10 photos in one second with its speedy shutter speed.

Being a photographer myself, I love the new camera features. I find that the old iPhone cameras would take much too long to capture one image; but this iPhone can take 10 images in the blink of an eye. It helps capture pictures when I want to photograph something in motion, and it comes out clean.

The camera’s “true tone” flash takes a white LED and an amber LED to adjust the temperature of the colors creating 1000 variations to light the image perfectly. The camera also offers square photos, slow motion video, panorama images, and a selection of photo filters.

I didn’t notice a big difference in the flash; except for that it takes a bit longer to fire. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of this.

The iPhone colors of gold, silver, and black are offered in multiple memory availability. The pricing varies on how much memory is in the device. With a two-year wireless service plan from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint; you can get the 16GB iPhone for $199, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399. The more storage availability, the more content you can store in your iPhone.
