The Bulldogs played their most important game of the year on Tuesday Feb. 18 against Grace Davis in the Bill Swenson Gymnasium. This was a must win game for the Bulldogs as a victory would advance them to the playoffs.

Tracy started the game off hot as they went up 7-0, giving plenty of energy and momentum their way. After a timeout by Grace Davis to stop the Bulldog momentum, they landed punches of their own, ending the first quarter with Tracy High leading 11-10.
The Bulldogs had a great second quarter as their defense only let up two points with their offense giving them a 21-13 lead going into halftime.
Grace Davis took advantage of early foul trouble from the Bulldogs in the second half and were gifted 12 free throws to start the half. David Goularte was forced to sit for most of the third quarter after picking up three fouls.
The Bulldogs were able to take a commanding lead in the fourth quarter with Maximillian

Russell leading the offensive efforts with 10 points in the fourth quarter. They were able to keep that lead strong to the finish as Tracy took the win with a final score of 59-46.
With the crucial victory against Grace Davis, the Bulldogs secured a spot in the playoffs, with their first opponent being Destiny Christian. The Bulldogs are heavy underdogs going into this game on Wed. Feb. 19 as Destiny Christian is the number one seed in the playoffs.
