Tracy High school’s Bulldogs Got Talent event brought the community together on March 26 at the Emma Baumgartner Theater, showcasing the diverse talents of students in a free evening of performances.
Hosted by students Abella Mayorga, Janet Romo, Grace Witbeck, and Bahaar Mayorga, the event featured everything
from singers and dancers to musicians and baton twirlers. Emma Knight opened the night by singing the National Anthem.
One of the standout performances came from The Sawin Sisters, who impressed the crowd with their baton twirling and earned the title of “Champion.” Jake Hallen, last year’s event organizer, noted the challenges of organizing such an event.
“The hardest part is getting people to perform, but the energy tonight shows it’s all worth it,” Hallen said.
Other acts included a skit by the Domingo group, which featured Grace Witbeck, Janet Romo, Abella Mayorga, Iris Galcia, and Kavin Satishkumar, as well as a high-energy Just Dance performance by the Party Rockers, which included Srin Ibrahim, Valentina Cooksey, and Violet Howard.
Abella Mayorga, last year’s champion who performed in several acts, expressed her enthusiasm about the event. “It’s amazing to see so many people come together and support each other,” Mayorga said. “The energy from the crowd tonight was unreal.”
The evening celebrated not only student talent but also teamwork and school spirit, as students worked together to create a memorable event.
