Tracy High School’s varsity baseball team hosted its annual Senior Night on Wed. April 30, against the West High Wolf Pack. With friends, family and teammates in the stands, the Bulldogs delivered a dominant performance from start to finish.
The energy in the dugout and the crowd remained high throughout the game, giving the Class of 2025 a memorable sendoff at Monte Vista Ballpark.
Senior Ryan Torres opened the scoring with a deep sacrifice fly to left field, bringing in the game’s first run. Tracy set the tone early by staying patient at the plate and capitalizing on West’s early mistakes.

Senior Dylan Giannini followed with an RBI single to left, and Torres later drove in another run with his second sacrifice fly of the night, giving the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead.
Senior pitcher Jace Johnson was nearly untouchable on the mound. He pitched five shutout innings, allowing only one hit, issuing no walks and striking out 10.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Tracy exploded for six runs to put the game out of reach. Giannini led off with his fourth hit of the game, an RBI single. Josh Verduzco followed with a two-run single to left-center, and Elijah Gutierrez capped the rally with a three-run home run.
Defensively, the Bulldogs committed no errors and showed sharp communication on the field. The team finished with 13 hits, with all nine starters reaching base safely at least once.
Tracy High’s senior class brought energy, leadership and heart to the program all season. Their final home game gave fans a chance to celebrate not just stats, but the legacy of effort, camaraderie and impact they’ve had on Bulldogs baseball.
