Taylor Sansaver, a junior at Tracy High, has been playing softball since she was four, when her seventh-grade year came around she started getting serious about going to a D1 collage for softball.

Sansaver committed on Sept. 17 to the D1 school University of Arizona.
Sansaver from a young age put herself out there in front of many different colleges, giving her a chance to earn opportunities like this one.
“In seventh grade I traveled the world going to different campuses,” Sansaver reflected. “it allowed me to get on the stage in front of certain scouts.”
Head of the athletic department Matt Strout praised Sansaver’s dedication and hard work.
“I think she’s worked hard her whole life to get this,” Shrout explained. “She is a good student.”
Sansaver said the decision brought a sense of relief.
“It feels good to be committed.” Sansaver stated. “I’ve spent a lot of time on this”

Sansaver’s journey shows how years of dedication, schoolwork, and training can open doors at the highest level of college athletics.
Ava Crivello, Sansaver’s teammate expressed her dedication as well.
“She has worked towards this forever and she definitely deserves it,” Crivello explained. “She always puts in 100% effort.”
The support from those around her shows how much her work has been noticed both on and off the field.
Her commitment marks the beginning of the next chapter in her softball career.
