On October 10, the Tracy High Football team defeated the Lodi Flames in their second league game with a score of 28-6, the Bulldogs first league win of the season.

The Bulldogs kick off on Lodi’s half and the defense steps into formation.
Lodi fought hard but was stopped by Tracy’s defense led by Case Borges and TJ Fonua.
Borges had two close sacks and by keeping pressure on Lodi’s quarterback, he threw an incompletion ending the set of downs.
As Tracy’s offense sadly turns over the ball, the Bulldogs defense contains the Flames again.
As special teams gathered the ball, Ryan Foster blocked a punt by Lodi giving Tracy the ball at the Flames 10-yard line.
As Foster led Tracy’s offense closer to the endzone, Brady Brown dived in for the touchdown.
Extra point scored by Scott Paterson opened the game to 7-0.
Lodi wrestles Tracy’s defense but is overturned, halfway through the quarter.
Brown found Maddix Severson near the endzone and threw a perfect pass, scoring Tracy for the second touchdown of the night.
Severson recalls his touchdown bring up the spirits of his teammates, saying “Were not doing to good to start this season but these touchdowns are helping us.”
With 6 minutes left in the half, Brown scored a 21-yard run after a while of no action.

Being up 21 points before halftime heavily motivated the Bulldogs as head Coach Pribble speaks on halftime discussions.
“We wanted a bit more run game earlier in the game and get them tight and controlled for some pass routes in which, we ended up doing.” stated Pribble.
Shortly into the third quarter the Bulldogs scored their fourth touchdown as David Grisham broke free from Lodi and ran the ball for 74 yards.
As Tracy defense continued to keep pressure on Lodi, they would go on to only score a touchdown pass with no extra point, 28-6.
This game would be the Bulldogs’ first league victory and a jolt in motivation. They will host Lincoln high school next on Oct 17 for the homecoming game!
