“The Muppets: Most Wanted” is an excellently directed movie that is perfect for the entire family to go see. The movie and made $17,005,126 on the first weekend it opened on March 21.

From the end of the last movie, “The Muppet Movie”, the Muppet crew doesn’t know what to do next. Their tour manager suggests they all go on a world tour. Meanwhile the dangerous criminal, Constantine, escapes from jail and wants to find Kermit the Frog.

Closing in on their first show, Kermit gets stressed out and decides to take a walk. During this walk he is ambushed by Constantine. The criminal disguises Kermit as himself by placing a mole on Kermit’s right cheek. Constantine escapes and Kermit is arrested in his place. Constantine then goes and takes Kermit’s place in the Muppets. With his disguise believable, he is able to travel with the crew and commit crimes along the way.

At the climax of the movie Constantine proposes to Miss Piggy with the intent of using the wedding as a distraction to steal the crown jewels in London, however, the viewer can expect Kermit to save the day.

The director, James Bobin, excellently transitioned between the two movies making it unnecessary to see the first movie.

The cast of voices behind the Muppets created excellent individual characters. Sometimes the same voice could be voicing two different Muppets and the viewer would never guess. While other characters, who simply played themselves, brought unique character development to the movie.

I would give the movie a 9 out of 10 because it was an excellently directed movie with great characters and an interesting plot.
