Students preparing for prom

Andrew Ross asking Courtney Vasquez to prom

Prom is easy? Think, again. Many girls and boys struggle to deal with issues in the month or even a week before prom.

Girls have many different things to be concerned with for prom. They have to make sure they pick out a perfect prom dress that no other girl will be wearing, have the perfect shoes, and make sure they pick the shoes up before having dress alterations done.

Girls also need to have nails, hair, and make-up appointments set two or three weeks before prom because they appointment times fill up fast. Prom goers have to pick out the flowers they want to wear corsages that will match the dress.

Students also need to decide if a spray tan is needed. A practice run needs to be done before the actual date to make sure it is tan, not orange.

Boys and girls have to make sure that dances moves will be on point that night because no one wants to embarrass themselves.

Boys don’t have that much to worry about. All guys need to do it sure that the tuxedo vest color

matches the girl’s dress just right.

The cost is also a concern, so the guys need to make sure that the girl doesn’t have to worry about paying for the prom, unless they are going with a group of friends and want to split the costs.

Guys need to also making sure they ask the girl is the best way because this memory will last forever.

Hopefully, none of the students are stressing to much over prom and will have a great time on April 23.
