Abigael Shannon is a three-year member of the Tracy High Dance Team. Shannon has been enjoying dance and acting for 13 years. Shannon soon hopes to major in film leading to a career as an actress or director. Along with her love for the arts she also enjoys a good book. Reading is where her acting and directing skills come to life. Reading is a way for her to live in another world where there is no school or commitment. Even though Shannon cannot sing very well, she enjoys a good musical where she can admire the beauty of them.  Bursting into song and dance is such an entertaining way to display a movie. Her favorite musicals are Newsies and Chicago and every Thanksgiving Shannon, and her mom has a Musical Marathon and watches classics as well as modern musicals. Shannon also takes pride in teaching at the studio located in downtown Tracy. At the Academy of Performing Arts, she teaches Musical Theatre and Princess Ballet. Shannon enjoys teaching the little ones at the Academy ballet and being respectful. Though her students can be a handful, she wouldn’t change it for the world.
