Aisha Lopez is an introverted 14-year-old girl born in San Jose, California, but moved to Tracy, Calif., at 5-years-old. She likes to read, skateboard, listen to music, and write. Her favorite book genre is romance. She enjoys talking with her friends and spending time with her dogs. Lopez joined journalism to be able to connect with her peers through writing, stepping out of comfort zone and talking to new people. She has two brothers, one older and one younger. She has two dogs as well: Canelo and Milo. Lopez is a homebody, staying in rather than going out. Although she may not seem to like it, she enjoys rock genres more than anything. Her favorite band that she loves to recommend is She Wants Revenge. She also enjoys listening to Nine-Inch Nails and My Chemical Romance. Lopez is a big movie and show lover, with her favorite movie being Coraline, and favorite show Young Sheldon. Her favorite book series is the Twisted series by Ana Huang and favorite all time stand-alone book is Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan.
