Mehak Kaur was born on April 28, 2008, and is a current senior at Tracy High School. Kaur moved to Tracy when she was 14. She was born into a family of five and is the youngest child in the family. She likes to spend most of her time with her family on the weekends. Kaur loves to travel and wants to go to places like Greece, Dubai, Italy, and Bali. Kaur’s hobbies are cooking, drawing, and painting. In her free time, she likes to bake and watch movies. She is excited about her last year at Tracy High and looks forward to all the upcoming senior events. Her goal is to raise her grades and GPA to get into a CSU next year. This will be her second year in journalism.  Kaur took journalism in her freshman year and enjoyed it, so she has decided to return. She plans to use this class to strengthen her writing and communication skills. After high school she plans to attend Sacramento State University to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Kaur’s favorite memories from Tracy High were going to rallies with her friends. She is ready for the next chapter of her life and excited to graduate this year but is also sad to leave her favorite teachers and friends.
