Miguel Elias Jr. is currently a 15-year-old junior at Tracy High School. He was born on September 28, 2007, in Berkley, California and lived in Oakland for two years before moving to Tracy in 2009. He is a collector and enjoys the movie Back to The Future. Elias enjoys art, reading and writing. In the future he plans on starting a side business that allows him to sell art. He likes inspiring others to pursue what they are reaching for and is always looking for ways to help others out. Elias has one younger brother who is nine years old and he appreciates being their role model. He knows that he is their person to look up to when they need help. Elias is also very appreciative of his parents and his uncle. They give him the support he needs to keep going every day and to stay motivated throughout the year. Elias’ goal for the future is to improve his artistic talents, which will lead to his work being published in a gallery for people to view. Along with that he is looking pursue a journalism career that allows him to report or even write stories about the topics he loves. He would love to write about music, art, or worldwide conflicts such as war. Elias has always been interested in the topic of journalism and wishes to become a journalist for the military but is open to whichever path life may give him.
