Rylund Bassett is a freshman at Tracy High School and is a true Scholar and Athlete. He is active in many sports such as Soccer, Football, Track, and Boxing. While in school he is a member of the Ag/Sci academy. Basset has a profound interest in photography and journalism, discovering the huge world around us. He was born in Tracy, Calif., on November 2, 2010, in Modesto. Living only a few years of his life in Modesto, he moved to Tracy at an early age. He plans to join the United States Marine Corps after graduating and serve for a few years. After receiving the benefits, he will likely attend college to study biology or criminology. He only has one older sister who is 23 years old. She graduated from Tracy High School in 2019. He loves to ride his bike in his free time riding all around Tracy, doing wheelies of course. His favorite foods include fast-food restaurants, such as McDonald’s or Raising Canes, as well as steak and pasta. His goals in Journalism are to be heavily involved with sports coverage and photography work.
