Sophie Gaa, Reporter
Sophie Gaa is a junior at Tracy High School; she has lived in Tracy her entire life and deeply admires her community. Born on October 28, 2008, to a tight-knit family, Gaa is currently 16-years-old. She lives with her mom and dad, as well as her two dogs, Sammy and Jinx. She has one older brother named Gavin, who recently moved out at 21-years-old. Her interests include cooking, fashion, reading, and music. She loves the movies like “The Princess Bride,” and one of her favorite shows is “New Girl.” Gaa loves to experiment with all sorts of foods, hobbies, and extracurriculars. There is nothing that she is opposed to trying. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as trying out new recipes. No matter what Gaa puts her mind to, she always works with strong devotion and commitment. Ever since she was little, Gaa has been interested in writing and has taken that interest to a higher level this year with IB English. She hopes to express that love for writing in her articles. Gaa wants her dedication and interest to be felt through every word she writes. As this is her first year in journalism, she is excited to cover new topics and hear every angle.
