Zuleika Gomez is currently a freshman attending Tracy high school. Gomez was born on June 7, 2011, in Stockton, California and has lived in Tracy for a couple of years. She is the youngest out of her family of five that includes her two older sisters, brother, and Dad. She also has two cats, one tuxedo cat named Mittens and a Ragdoll named Simba, Simba is one year old and Mittens is two years old. While outside of school she enjoys going out and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys boxing during her free time, photography, and sketching drawings. She also enjoys listening to artists such as Childish Gambino, Sade, Aaliyah, Mac miller, And Cuco. After high school she plans on going to college for 4 years then into the police force, while trying to become a homicide investigator. She joined journalism because even when Zuleika was younger, she enjoyed writing stories in her diary and wanted to get better at writing through being in this class. It is also her first year of journalism and she is very excited for this school year and cannot wait to meet new people and make new memories.
