As the Class of 2025 prepares to graduate, Tracy High School seniors marked the end of an era with an overnight trip to Disneyland Resort for Grad Nite during its 70th Anniversary celebration.
The annual tradition, held on May 12–13, gave seniors exclusive access to Disney California Adventure Park and a chance to celebrate together one final time.
Organized through WorldStrides, the package included round-trip transportation, a 1-Day Park Hopper ticket and access to a private Grad Nite celebration running from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. With DJ dance parties, character meet-and-greets and late-night rides on fan favorites, the night created unforgettable memories.
For many seniors, the trip exceeded expectations.
“I was expecting it to be fun, but it turned out way better than I thought,” Jorge Perez said. “Everything from the rides to the food to just being there with friends made it a night to remember.”
The private event transformed the park into a seniors-only celebration, allowing students from Tracy and other schools to come together without the usual crowds.
“We had so much freedom to explore, hang out with friends and just enjoy being teenagers,” Josh Ruzon said. “Since it was Disneyland, it was hard not to have fun.”
Despite the exhaustion from staying up all night, the memories made were well worth it.
“The most memorable part of the night was definitely riding the Incredicoaster,” Ammad Chishti said. “Not only was the ride itself amazing but doing it with friends made it even better. We laughed, screamed and hyped each other up the whole time.”
With graduation just less than two weeks away, the Grad Nite trip was a meaningful beginning of the end for the Class of 2025. From thrill rides to heartfelt goodbyes, it was a night many seniors will remember for years to come.
