On 11th Street in downtown Tracy, students at Tracy High can support 4Ever Paisley Boutique, a store that features artsy and creative designs with unique clothing, jewelry and accessories.
Alyssa Hunter, an employee at 4Ever Paisley Boutique, shared her suggestions.
“Whenever you’re here, always ask for Nicole.” Hunter said.
The owner of 4Ever Paisley Boutique, Nicole Dela Torre, has been running the shop for three years. Dela Torre shared that her creative mind can be shown through the works of art that she showcases.
“This is my canvas, this is my flower garden, and every time I water it, it grows.” Dela Torre explained. “I just love to showcase the artistries that come from all over the world, I love art that shows who the artists are.”
Dela Torre shared her goal is to impact the Tracy Community and younger generations.
“I hope to be able to show the younger generations that we don’t have to be in a trend; we can be outside of the box as long as we have a creative mind.” Dela Torre continued. “I want to motivate young ladies to never give up the color on their canvases.”
Tracy High student Audrina Melendez shared her experience at 4Ever Paisley Boutique.
“Their purses are really good quality and their designs are pretty.” Melendez shared. “Whenever I go out, everyone compliments it.”
Dela Torre later mentions how her creativity was a gift given by her grandmother.
“She was a very artistic lady that just loved creating things, from ceramics to painting, to sewing,” Dela Torre said. “I always felt like a little artist at her house; that’s the gift she’s given me.” Dela Torre explains, “I want to one day be able to share my true story. That little girl that grew up and had that shop. It’s what got me here. It’s my peace, it really is,” she concluded.
