Having only been in high school for two years, I can already say that these have been, and are going to be, the best four years of my life.

Being in high school has taught me so much about real life situations and even about myself. There is so much more to me than I knew.

On my first day of freshman year, I was so scared. It was such a big campus with so many people. I remember watching all of the upper class-men walk around with no confusion on their face whatsoever, while I was slowly walking around looking like a lost puppy.

They all knew what they were doing, while I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do. By the end of the first week, I felt like a pro. Everything seemed normal to me and I was content. I was officially in high school.

Soon after the first week, football season started which turned out to be my favorite part of being in high school.

At my first football game, I had an absolute blast. I loved every second of it. I felt like I was in one of those movies about high school kids I had watch ever since I was little.

Freshman year went by so fast and I learned everything so quickly. At the end of the year, I played freshman softball, and I loved it so much.

The summer after freshman year went by and I was a sophomore. I felt so cool, because I was not a freshman anymore. However, I quickly came to realize, that I was not much bigger than any of the freshman at all.

As a sophomore, I decided to take Journalism. It is a junior and senior class, but I got special permission and I am so happy that I did.

I love this class. It has taught me so much and I have gotten to meet so many great people through just the class in general, and through doing interviews with so many different people including staff, students, coaches and athletes.

I will be taking it next year, and I can’t wait for another amazing year.
