One of the most common topics unresolved in society today is bad eating habits. The food people consume has a huge impact, not only on their bodies, but also society as well. People are taking in more than their bodies can handle and it is starting to cause major problems, such as obesity or diabetes. The epidemic is increasing every day and needs attention.

Obesity is a serious, chronic disease that can have a negative effect on many systems in the body. People who are overweight or obese have a much greater risk of developing serious conditions. Obesity is caused by poor eating habits and lack of exercise.

It is easier for people to spend a dollar or two less for a bag of chips, rather than a bag of carrots. People tend to blame their reduced budget on their bad eating habits, which can sometimes be credible. It is just a matter of time before negative results begin to show.

Eating healthy can reduce risks of heart attacks, obesity, and diabetes. There are so many cheap fast food restaurants that people resort to them to save money and time. Even if people attempt eat healthy, the restaurants and food sold around them are still tempting and trying to reel them in.

If people don’t start making a change now, this society will be obese. Exercising is a good way to stay in shape, but eating right is the best way to maintain it.

Creating goals for yourself is a great way to start fixing bad habits. If you create reasonable and realistic goals, then it makes it possible to reach them. Fast-food places and junk foods are  destroying people’s bodies and making them sick. If people start changing their eating habits, they will have a better lifestyle and positively influence others around them.
