Tracy High Softball league season started in March, so far the team record is 7-0 and it looks like Tracy High Softball might go all the way to league and section champions again.

Head Coach Paulette Keeney and many players from Tracy High Softball discussed how the team is doing so far and how they think they will do in the future.

Kenney said,” I’m hoping to have another undefeated season this year. As of right now, we have had some challenging games and have come out on top! And, we have not even reached our full potential!! Every year as the season goes on, the girls get better and better, and stronger and stronger; they start picking up momentum and boom! We are unstoppable!!”

Kenney’s feelings about coaching the team are clear.” I enjoy coaching these girls so much!! They keep me on my toes, and yes, it can be very challenging at times. It definitely never gets boring. I love the fact that we have so many different personalities which is what makes us who we are!! Section Champions!” Keeney said.

When asked what she would say to the girls wanting to try out next year,

Kenney’s response was, “As for the girls wanting to try out next year, just know this, whatever role you have on your travel ball team this year, may not be the same role you have on your high school team next year. You must be flexible, hardworking and willing to learn different positions. Whatever role that may be, stay positive, stay focused and most importantly give it your all!!!”

To all the ladies wanting to try out next year, good luck ladies, have fun try your best come on out, you never know you might just make it.
