Vanessa Aguirre, Copy Editor
Vanessa Aguirre is a senior at Tracy High School. She has lived in Tracy most of her life along with her older sister and younger brother who she has developed a very close relationship with. Aguirre was born on December 12, 2006, making her 17-years-old. Both of her parents are fully Mexican. Her dad, Roger Aguirre being an immigrant from Zacatecas, Mexico, and her mother Crystal Aguirre was born and raised in Ontario, Calif.. Aguirre has also been a part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program for three years at Tracy High School. Some things she enjoys doing in her free time are reading, discovering new music, pilates, and walking her dog, and spending time with her friends. When needed, Aguirre picks up small babysitting or dog sitting jobs to earn extra money. After high school, she wants to attend the American River Community College in Sacramento, Calif. to study Marketing to later evolve into the role of becoming a journalist or retail buyer. This year will be Aguirreās second year in the journalism class at Tracy High, with previous experience as the copy editor for the news website. This year, Aguirre is continuing with the role of copy editor for the 2024-2025 school year.
