Alexa Medrano, an Orange County native, moved to Tracy this year after living most of her life in Garden Grove, Calif. Quickly leaving most of her life behind, Medrano looks to reconnect with her new community while attending a new school. She has always been active and very involved at school. She loves helping and volunteering as much as she loves playing sports, hiking, and enjoying time. Always keeping in contact with her teachers and peers to find out about upcoming events where she could volunteer. Medrano is very social and loves to be faced to face with unique and exciting challenges. She is adventurist and spontaneous, with no need to plan. Even though she is very outgoing and loves socializing with her peers, she can always enjoy a quiet peaceful evening by herself. Medrano has always been very passionate about helping others. She claims to have learned much from her teachers, friends and volunteer work, admitting it made her a stronger and more appreciative person.
