The events such as free E – Waste recycling gives people around the community the opportunity to dispose their unwanted electronics.  

These events happen to spread and increase awareness to the community of Tracy and San Joaquin County to help decrease the number of recyclables that are sent to the landfills.

Most individuals with more than the amount of electronics are asked to call 209-734-7944 to be able to dispose of electronics properly.  

This event is located near the Boyd Service Center with future upcoming events to help the community.  

The city of Tracy had a franchise agreement with Tracy delta solid waste management which is an organization to help collect, dispose, and transport, and dispose of recyclable materials and organic waste.  

It helps to be able to reduce the need to extract resources such as timber, water and minerals or new upcoming products. 

By recycling products and materials, it is creating a healthier planet for current and upcoming new generations.
