Awards were separated into three categories. IB Scholars that tested in one to two IB subjects were given a small medal with a green and gold ribbon, along with a custom made IB stash.
IB Distinguished Scholars who tested in three or more IB subjects received a program medal with a gold ribbon, along with a custom made IB stash.
Finally, the IB Diploma candidates that completed six subjects exams, wrote an extended essay and completed their Creative Activity Service (CAS) received the custom IB scholar metal with a black ribbon and their custom made light blue stashes.
“These students have taken on the full IB challenge,” Alexandre stated.
IB Distinguished Scholar Aaliyah Collins spoke on her efforts in the program.
“I feel proud and bittersweet at the same time,” Collins explained. “I am glad that I took IB classes and they paid off. At the same time, the feeling of leaving and all my friends going their separate ways feels a lot more official now.”
