The three transportation buses — Mickey, Minnie and Goofy — arrived at Disneyland around 10:30 a.m., and students reported that going through security was quick and easy.
Students from Tracy High, along with students from other high schools in Los Angeles, Yuba City, Monta Vista and more, got to experience Disney California Adventure Park. The park opened exclusively for them from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

“Grad Nite was super fun. I loved it, and the lines were not as bad as I expected, but it was so tiring. By the end of the night, I was so tired I couldn’t stay awake,” Tracy High senior Karen Vargas said.
“I think it was super fun and a unique experience. I’m not that tired actually, only a little bit,” graduating senior Lorenzo Morales said.
The Grad Nite event included an hour-long light show, music and dancing with a live DJ, and various Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Stitch coming out in caps and gowns for pictures with students.
Buses left the park around 3 a.m. and arrived back at Tracy High School at 8:30 a.m.
Overall, the trip to Disneyland was a memorable experience for graduating students during some of their final days of high school.
