Ellie Hernandez, Op/Ed Editor
Ellie Hernandez is a 16-year-old Junior that attends Tracy High. She is in a family of 6 where her brother is a senior at Notre Dame University and her sister is a freshman at Texas Christian University. Her younger sister is currently a freshman at Tracy High School. Hernandez lives with her mom, dad, and sister as a resident in Tracy, California. She has lived in there her whole life. This is her first year in Journalism and she is looking forward to strengthening her writing skills and excited to write about things she is passionate for. She currently plays on the Tracy High Varsity Volleyball team and on the Tracy High Varsity Swim Team in the Spring. Hernandez has made it to Sections in both sports and has made it to state for volleyball this past season. She also plays club volleyball at Core Volleyball Club and is on the 17-1’s team for this upcoming season. While she is very big on sports, she is also big on her academics. She keeps a 4.0 GPA in school and is a scholar-athlete. Hernandez is in her 3rd year of the Ag/Science program where she will start working on her Ag/Sci Senior project soon.
