The 2025 Tracy Candy Crawl, an event where kids, pets and people of all ages showed up wearing their Halloween costumes, took place downtown on the afternoon of October 25.
Businesses and organizations that participated in the Candy Crawl put up Halloween decorations and passed out candy to kids and their parents. There were food trucks and music for everyone to enjoy as they strolled downtown.
“We love it, we always show up every year,” Erica Pitney said. “I love how great it is, for all ages really. For the businesses, it’s just a great family event overall.”
Police officers were there during the event, passing out candy while also maintaining a safe atmosphere for the Tracy community.
During the Candy Crawl, they had a large number of people lined up for their Haunted Hallway. The Haunted Hallway had a very spooky environment, consisting of spider webs, scare actors and eerie noises playing.
“They had a good haunted house,” Payden Roberts explained. “The candy is good; they got a lot of chocolate bars and skittles.”
At the event, there were a lot of popular recurring costumes. There were kids dressed up as characters from the Netflix animated film K-pop Demon Hunters, as well as kids dressed up as dinosaurs and numerous superheroes.
“This year is the first time I’m bringing my son to the Candy Crawl and it’s phenomenal,” Katie Ramirez admitted. “Plenty of people showing up.”
The 2025 Tracy Candy Crawl had a great turnout, with a ton of Tracy residents showing up with their friends, family and pets.
