Downtown Tracy came alive Saturday evening as the city’s annual Christmas Parade brought together student performers, local communities and families for a night of celebration marking the start of the holiday season.

Hundreds of Tracy residents lined the streets of the downtown as lights, music and decorated floats made their way down.
Several extra curriculars also participated, riding on handmade floats that reflect themes of winter traditions, community pride and holiday giving.
The event was coordinated by the Tracy City Center and featured entries from across the community, with high school students providing many of the night’s features.
Marching bands from Tracy High, West High and Millennium Charter School performed seasonal music while color guards and cheer teams added visuals.

Local businesses played an equally visible role. From family-owned businesses to neighborhood shops, each showcased its own take on holiday décor.
The parade concluded with Santa Claus riding on top of a brightly lit float, wrapping up the evening as families dispersed into nearby cafes.
