As the season is passing by quickly, three seniors from PowerHouse Dance Academy are getting ready to take their final bow. For Eva Burg, Piper Mcelvy and Neydalin Chavez, dance has been more than just a hobby; it has been a second home, a support system and a huge part of who they are today.
After years of practice, performances and memories, these dancers are reflecting on what their time at Powerhouse has meant to them. Each of them shared how much the studio has impacted their lives, both on and off the dance floor.
For Burg, the biggest thing she’ll miss isn’t just dancing, it’s the people.

Burg stated, “The thing I will miss is the Powerhouse family and community, the friends I have made with the girls and staff.”
Burgs words showed how Powerhouse is more than just a place to train. It’s a space where strong friendships are built and where dancers feel supported every day.
For Burg, the connections she’s made will stay with her long after she leaves the studio.
Mcelvy shared a different but equally meaningful perspective. For her dance has been something she can always count on, even during tough times.
Mcelvy explained, “This studio has taught me when something to look forward to.”
That feeling of having a safe, positive place to go is something many dancers understand. No matter what’s going on outside, stepping into the studio can change everything for a dancer.
For Mcelvy, Powerhouse has been that constant source of motivation and comfort.
Neydalin Chavez also talked about the positive energy the studio brings into her life.
Chavez expressed, “What I will miss about Powerhouse the most is the positive mood change as soon as I walk in the studio from everyone.”
Chavez words highlighted something special about the environment at Powerhouse. It’s not just about dancing; it’s about how the people there make you feel. The encouragement, positivity and support from teammates and staff created an atmosphere that lifted everyone up.
Even though each dancer has had a different experience, they all share one thing in common: Powerhouse Dance Academy has shaped them into who they are today. Through long rehearsals, performances and team bonding, they’ve learned discipline, confidence and teamwork.

As they move on to their next chapter, these seniors are leaving more than just routines they’re leaving a legacy. Their dedication and passion have helped build the strong supportive community that Powerhouse is known for.
While it’s never easy to say goodbye, Burg, Mcelvy and Chavez will always carry out the memories they’ve made at the studio with them. No matter where life takes them, Powerhouse Dance Academy will always be a part of their story.
The spirit they helped create will continue to live on in every dancer who walks through those doors. Their energy, positivity, and passion have inspired others to give their best and support doesn’t fade, it grows and it will always be part of Powerhouse.
