On Nov. 15, 2025, the annual Winter Formal took place in the Tracy High cafeteria. The moment students walked into the cafeteria, it no longer looked like the place where they ate lunch every day. The cafeteria had been completely transformed into a night in Paris. When students stepped through the doors, there were lights, decorated tables, photo booths and a dance floor.
Sophomore Anthony Correia explains his experiences with others at the dance.
“The dance was fun and it was nice to see so many people have fun,” Correia exclaimed. “You get to end the night dancing with people you know or have never met.”
Groups arrived after photos and dinner, ready for the real highlight of the night: dancing. No matter the grade, the dance floor became a place where everyone came together.
Sophomore Zoe Artadi explains how the night met her expectations.
“I enjoyed it and had lots of fun being with friends and going to the dance,” Artadi shared.

For Freshmen Secretary, London Melo, Winter Formal did not stop when the music ended. She explains one of her favorite memories.
“One thing I will remember is that during clean up, me and my friends danced in our dresses in the rain,” Melo reflected.
After attending the dance this year, students explained why the winter formal is something that should not be missed.
“You’re only in high school once so make the best out of it,” Melo concluded.
