May 1st, Decision Day is when students officially choose where they will attend school after graduation.
At Tracy High School, Decision Day brought students together to share their plans and support one another. Many seniors wore shirts or colors representing their future schools.
The energy on campus was positive and emotional as everyone realized this chapter of their life is coming to an end.

For senior Gabriella Hernandez the day was all about community and joy, Hernandez experience reflects how Decision Day is not just about induvial choice but about celebrating others.
Hernandez said, “It was too great to see where all my friends and classmates are going, and it was so much fun to see everyone so excited to share where they’re going after high school”
Senior Sarah Syed shared why she chose University of California Los Angeles.
She explained that “UCLA stood out to me because of the opportunities and education it offers as well as the community they have” Syed said.
Like many seniors her decision was based on both academic goals and finding the right environment.

Senior Maddison Kaylor states how this new stage comes with the mix of emotions that comes with graduating and moving forward.
Kaylor expressed “I can’t wait to be in a new environment and venture out of my comfort zone”
Decision Day is not only a meaningful milestone for seniors, it is a time to reflect on the past, celebrate achievements, and look forward to the future.
