“There was a lot of detail in all the artwork and there were a lot of interesting pieces,” Aguilera shared.
Multiple Tracy High students volunteered to help set up the exhibition over 3 different days.
Marcos Lopez, one of the volunteers, commented on why he chose to help with setting up the art show.
“I don’t know, I just like art. I like art and music. I’m pretty involved in it,” Lopez expressed.
Caleb Khimthang, another volunteer that helped set up the art, shared his experience with helping.
“It was fun, we helped set up the banners and lights. We had to paint some of the podiums for the statues and sculptures and we had to put up paintings and their price stickers,” Khimthang shared.
Artist entries for the art show began in Dec. 2025, allowing people 18 and older to submit up to six pieces of their original artwork per category, with entry costs being $20-25 dollars. The exhibition awarded one Best of Show award, five gold awards, five silver awards, five bronze awards and one People’s Choice award to artists whose work was extraordinary.
