The HTC One Mini is comparable to HTC’s flagship phone, the HTC One. This phone is equipped with the latest display technology and software from Android. It has a decent camera with average battery life.
The HTC One Mini is built around an aluminum shell and is slightly curved on the back, so that it is easy to hold in the hand. Also, it comes equipped with dual speakers on the front of the phone. This feature offers surround sound and includes Beats by Dre sound technology.
This phone has a 720p, 4.3 inch LCD display. This display has 341 pixels per inch, meaning that the individual pixels will be very difficult to distinguish for the naked eye, so images will appear very crisp and clear. This phone is great for performing everyday tasks like checking email, messaging, gaming, and watching movies.
The HTC One Mini has both a front and back facing camera. The back camera has four ultrapixels and can record video in 1080p. The front facing camera has 1.6 megapixels with 720p video recording. The ultrapixel capability has the ability to capture more light when taking a picture, so that the resulting image will have better contrast.
The HTC One Mini has an internal storage of 16 gigabytes (GB) with no expandable storage. This will be enough space for most people, but others will need to consider the HTC One which has a 32 GB version. Also, this phone has a 1.4 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor and comes with one GB of random access memory (RAM). This makes the phone very speedy and power efficient. The average talk time is 13 hours on a full charge.
My favorite part of the phone is the speakers. They are louder than any other phone that I have had and the music is very balanced. Also, the Beats by Dre technology gives very good base. My least favorite part of the phone is that the storage capacity is only 16 GB. I tend to download more data than the average user, so it would be great if this phone had external storage capabilities.
Overall, this is a great phone for any user. It comes equipped with a fast processor and a high quality camera, while being very power efficient. The HTC One Mini is only available for AT&T in the United States and costs $49.99 with a two-year contract.
