Tracy High boys basketball has had a good year so far.  The team looks forward to ending the season with a few more wins and hopefully a playoff berth.

During the season, the team has been preparing for every game they may play by putting in work on the hardwood and in class.

Team chemistry is an important part of being a great team.

Isaiah “Zay” Hawthorne, a University of Pacific commit, said that the team is ” hanging out outside of Basketball” as well as on the court.

The team hanging out has helped their team chemistry. The bonding that they do helps them to work together more effectively.

Another part of the success of the team is the coaching of  Genaro “Junior” Cueva.

“He wants the best for everybody,” junior player J’den Smith said about Cueva.

The team has wins and losses and their league record is 6-3 and their overall record is 15-8 currently.
