Marina Soares, Editor-in-Chief
Marina Soares was born on May 28, 2005, making her a senior at Tracy High School. She is 17 years old with a strong passion for completing goals, dreaming big, and being the best version of herself. All her life, she’s had aspiring goals. Whether it be a vet, detective, journalist, publicist, or talk show host, she looks forward to what her future might hold. She decided if she can’t be rich and famous, she’ll go for the next best thing, working with those same celebrities. Her goal is to become a celebrity publicist and to do that, she needs to get a degree in journalism. She decided to take this course of study in high school to get an early start and see what her future might hold. Marina is incredibly interested in all the job opportunities journalism contains. She loves creative activities and has earned many compliments and encouragements on her captivating writing. She has lots of experience in public speaking and has the confidence to tackle any obstacle. Her goals motivate her and she wouldn’t be where she was without them. Those same desires are what drives her in this quest to find herself and who she wants to be. As her last year of high school creeps onto her, way too fast if she may add, she hopes to walk the stage at graduation with the biggest smile on her face remembering all the memories she made and the goals she reached. Throughout the advanced and IB classes, her biggest accomplishment would be becoming the Editor-in-Chief for Tracy High School’s Journalism class.
